Schooools Out. For. Summer! (Well, almost!)

Hola Amigos! Here is our Fresh Summer Schedule, For Your Information!!

1. Arts Camp is currently full, with over 80 campers registered! YEOWZA!! Thanks for all the folks who registered...we will send you info (hopefully via email, but possibly snail mail) at the start of June about what to bring, how to dress, etc.

2. VBS registration is up in the column on the right of the page...there is tons of info when you click on the link. VBS dates are July 19-23, our theme is 'Rome: Paul and the Underground Church'...we still need LOTS of helpers...we have big spots, medium spots, and small spots...there's a perfect spot just for you! If you know now that you're interested in helping, contact Melanie Mason, VBS Team Leader @ mason31597@bellsouth.net!

3. End of School Pool Bash! June 11th, meet at Long's at 11:30. We will be going to the The Stovalls pool (Thats Will and Kathy, Jordan and Katie!) and we'll even have lunch! This is a great time to celebrate the end of another year of school and for parents to hang out...Its also a great time that your kids can hang out with us for the afternoon if you have to keep working even though they only have a half day. Stay tuned for more info on Pool location!

4. Fabtastic Fridays are coming at you ALL SUMMER LONG!! Fabtastic Fridays are family friendly and family oriented events that we organize. FF's are an excellent way to take a mini 'staycation' even in this crummy economy. Fab Fris will require pre-registration so that we know how many vehicles in addition to the Van that we will need, and so that we can reserve tickets/spaces at each location. Three Fab Fris will be offered for the following dates and locations:
a. July 10th- Tubing at Deep Creek!
b. July 24th- Hollywild Animal Park!
c. August 14th- Dollywood Splash Country!

(Long's will pay either in part for all participants or in full for all children).

5. For most Fridays during the summer when we don't have Fab Fris or Camps, I will be at the pool for any and all families who want to come hang out! Our Friday pool gatherings began two summers ago and have turned in to quite a nice little tradition. I normally do the Junaluska pool, the Rec Center if it's raining. Its an awesome time for me to get to hang with kids and their friends and even parents! Ill shoot out an email and letcha know for sure on the days I'm venturing out!
